PRESENTS

This movie is fast paced enough to be enjoyable. I do like their take on the werewolves, but the vampires are really. really unoriginal. The dialogue is stale, but for a movie like this who really cares about the dialogue anyways. I was expecting some fully cheapo CGI wolves and transformations, but i was pleasently surprised with the use of practical effects. there's definitely some nice make up, they built a couple stages of the werewolf transformations, lots of mouth pieces, fang and claw prosthetics. Its nothing groundbreaking, but its good for a mindless main stream hollywood monster movie, especially one where the focus is on kicking off a franchise. I guess thats why they had to make the vampires so stupidly pretty.
