DIRECTOR STATEMENT
My goal was to have fun and make something truly uncomfortable. It was based on my experience in the hospital. While not quite like in the film, I do feel like it was very much born out of the pain I experienced there and the total helplessness. The film is also a homage to body horror films and the genre of horror-comedies.

DIRECTOR BIO
Daniel was born in Vienna in 1996 and first completed his Bachelor's degree in Theater Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna, during which he gained his first cinematic experience with short films, music videos and various internships. He also worked at film festivals and tried his hand as a film critic and podcaster with "Film auf's Ohr". He also founded the film club "Kino & Krawall" together with the Stadtkino. He has been studying editing at the Vienna Film Academy since 2022.
