PRESENTS

A suprisingly good treatment of the zombie genre. This has its share of frightning and suspenseful elements, but mainly it's a good story about one man's determination to take care of his family. The Australian setting and Aboriginal elements really add to the originality. My scoring is a tad on the high side because I put in A-level points for things that weren't really applicable (CGI, certainly, and monster design, to some extent). Definitely worth watching! Martin Freeman does an excellent job. Again, a testament to the idea that you don't need a big budget to make a strong impact
