DIRECTOR BIO
Tamara Pavićević is a film director and producer with a focus on social commentary and genre exploration. Through her previous short films and documentaries, as well as video installations, she has dealt with themes of cultural memory, the consequences of war, mental health and coping with trauma. She has participated in prestigious programs such as the documentary workshop Ateliers Varan and the Peace Congress Berlin, further emphasizing her commitment to social engagement through film. Her master thesis in film directing explores the intersection of feminist film theory and the characterization of female characters in horror films. She is the founder of a non-governmental organization focused on the development of cultural activities, promotion of human rights and environmental protection.
