DIRECTOR STATEMENTS
At 55 years old, I achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a film director, working alongside an extraordinary cast and crew that surpassed all my expectations. I was deeply honored to direct "The Red Market," and for the rest of my life, I aspire to continue directing, writing, and acting in feature films. "The Red Market" is a student project from Brian Cutler Actors Studio in Burbank, California. It includes some of the finest cast and crew anywhere. Students from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts - Chapman University served on the crew and to all who helped, I am very grateful.

"The Red Market" features a cast and crew representing a variety of ethnic backgrounds, adding a natural richness to the production. Our director is 50% East Indian. We have a blend of Hispanic/Latino, Eastern European, Middle Eastern, and Anglo-Saxon heritage, among others. This cultural mix is reflected in both the cast and crew, whose diverse perspectives have shaped the creative and technical aspects of the film. The team behind the film, from the sound design to visual effects and cinematography, also hails from a range of backgrounds, with contributors likely from South Asian, European, and Latin American origins. This combination of ethnicities enriches the storytelling process, bringing a wider array of experiences and insights to the project. While the film doesn’t set out to emphasize diversity for its own sake, the diverse makeup of our team is a testament to the broad, global talent involved in bringing "The Red Market" to life.
