PRESENTS

I love this movie. I love the characters, even though I don't love the dialogue, which feels a little clunky. The cgi is minimal and complementary, not over powering, to the high bar practical effects. What really makes this film a stand out in the Zombie Genre, though, is the Zombie actors and actresses. The movement of the Zombies - especially when it is just focused on one or two - is just completely unmatched. It's like they were able to find a bunch of contortionists or something. The fact that the zombie actors were so good at embodying the entertaining, scary and otherworldly creatures allowed the makeup and effects team to go very minimal with the make-ups, which is nice. It makes the gore look gory and not just "fake bloody".
