PRESENTS

This is hard to score since it is not really a monster movie.

Okay, don't watch this movie if you want a horror/monster film. This just ain't that. It's a movie about two sisters who have to survive when some sort of event has wiped out normal civilization. This is a movie about female empowerment, which is fine, but it really can't be rated as a monster movie. There is a monstrous man who does a monstrous thing, but that's a very brief bit of the film. Now, as a female empowerment movie...I still didn't like it because I found the story weak. This reminded me of The Road, which also left me pretty cold. All in all, not great.
